Bengu Yagcioglu
As the founder of Impetus Executive Search, Bengu is with us as an Advisory Board Member, sharing her expertise in the field of Information Technologies and Finance recruitment.
Bengu has over 20 years of extensive experience (Multinational, Local, Private Equity and Startup Companies) covering functional C Level roles in Executive Management, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Information Technology, Outsourcing and Human Resources across Turkey and Middle East & Africa.
She has started her career in a SaaS Company which is the leader HR recruitment company in Turkey. After having worked for the top Telco companies Turkcell and Vodafone Turkey for 10 years as a Finance Sector Sales Manager, she continued her career as a Chief Sales & Marketing & Business Development Officer at the biggest outsource company in Turkey. She also has a global experience in Middle East and North Africa Region in IT Sector as a Regional Director. She has been working as a regional director for Infosec Information Technologies EMEA which is the leader cyber security reseller and system integrator in Turkey and Middle East.
Bengu has a B.A. degree in Economics at Uludag University. She studied Human Resources Specialty at Bogazici University. In addition to her native Turkish, she speaks fluent English. She is married and has a daughter.

Ayca Gunes is a Partner at Impetus Executive Search, based in Istanbul, Turkiye.
After graduating from Hacettepe University, she completed a continuing education program in Vancouver, Canada. Ayca gained experience in international Sales & Marketing in retail sector as the person in charge of the British Market and worked with some well-known brands such as Marks and Spencer, Dorothy Perkins and Bonmarché.
After that, she worked in education sector and designed various training programs for many years.
Continuing her career as a senior recruitment consultant, Ayca has earned a professional certification on HR and personally worked on the recruitment processes. She has experience in assessment, training and development, recruitment and selection.

Esra has a wide experience in the telecommunications, consumer goods, FMCG & retail, insurance and logistics. She has worked in a range of industries and geographies for more than 20+ years. Serving as Country Manager for TCC Global Eastern Europe and working as Senior Sales Manager, Israel & Georgia for Zebra Technologies brought her multinational experience and understanding in different cultures and areas.
She has also worked 10 years as an FMCG, Retail & Manufacturing Sales Manager in leading telecommunications company like Turkcell and Vodafone.
Prior to joining Turkcell, Esra was a Sales Manager in DHL and was a Senior Financial Advisor with a reputable trade record in Aviva Plc.
Esra has graduated from THM Bilkent University, Turkey. In addition to her native Turkish, she speaks fluent English. She is married and has a daughter.

Soner Canko
Soner Canko graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences and received his master’s and doctorate degrees from the Faculty of Economics of the same university. Starting his career in 1990, Soner Canko held managerial positions in various leading international companies such as P&G, Citibank, HP, Bileşim A.Ş. and First Data. In 2010, he assumed the position of Executive Vice President responsible for Retail Banking, Operations and Technology at Ziraat Bank. In 2011, he was appointed as the General Manager of the Interbank Card Center.
In this role, he focused on introducing new technologies and services to the Turkish card payments market and led the development of debit cards, Chip&PIN and contactless payments in Turkey. Soner Canko led the launch of BKM Express, Turkey’s mobile digital wallet, and TROY, Turkey’s Payment Method, and worked to register the economy and transition to a cashless society. Soner Canko, who left his position at BKM in April 2020, has been providing consultancy services to finance and technology companies under SC Yönetim & Danışmanlık, which he founded.
Dr. Canko, who is also known for his work in the field of financial technology in Turkey, has also served as the founder of FinTech Istanbul, Blockcahin Turkey Entrepreneur Institutions Turkey platforms.
Soner Canko was elected as a Member of KOBİL International Innovation Committee on May 1, 2020. In 2015, he was invited to the White House together with the world’s leading FinTech (Financial Technologies) leaders. Canko, who has many articles published in important publications for the business world such as Harvard Business Review and Bloomberg Business Week, produces content on business world, financial technologies, leadership and management. With his videos, articles and social media content, he is publicly known as Digital CEO.
